At Essence of the Thymes we offer exemplary food and extreme service, brought to you! Your initial consultation assesses your likes, dislikes and any special dietary needs. We will work with you to determine what style of service, rental needs and expectations for your event. We are an off premise caterer who specializes in working with all different venues and their various requirements. We will lead you through the process, customizing our services and menus for your event. Our accurate quotes will be created as you share details such as your event timeline, rental periods, service expectations and specific preferences.

After your initial inquiry you can expect a proposal and spreadsheet sent to you via email within a week.

We encourage you to bring any decision makers to your private consultation. It is a great time for us to get to know you, but also for you all to get a good feeling about us. Questions are expected and encouraged We look forward to hearing from you.

Chase has been a valued member of our team for four years, bringing with him more than two decades of hospitality expertise. Beloved by guests and colleagues alike, he has a natural gift for creating meaningful, memorable moments—whether through his warm storytelling, his love of singing, or his instinct for exceptional service. Chase brings an energy and presence that elevates every event.

Hanna

Kitchen Manager

Hanna is our Kitchen Manager and one of the exceptional Head Chefs at Essence. She ensures flawless execution in every culinary detail, from the freshness of our ingredients to the precision of each dish we create. Outside the kitchen, she enjoys time with her partner, TJ, and their dog, Chaquita—often exploring the outdoors, camping, or cheering on the Mariners whenever they get the chance.

Site Chef

With over 14 years of experience in the restaurant and service industries, TJ brings a refined understanding of global flavors and culinary technique to our team. His depth of knowledge and creative approach make him an invaluable part of Essence. When he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll often find him playing guitar or spending quality time with his family and their dog.
