At Essence of the Thymes we offer exemplary food and extreme service, brought to you! Your initial consultation assesses your likes, dislikes and any special dietary needs. We will work with you to determine what style of service, rental needs and expectations for your event. We are an off premise caterer who specializes in working with all different venues and their various requirements. We will lead you through the process, customizing our services and menus for your event. Our accurate quotes will be created as you share details such as your event timeline, rental periods, service expectations and specific preferences.

After your initial inquiry you can expect a proposal and spreadsheet sent to you via email within a week.

We encourage you to bring any decision makers to your private consultation. It is a great time for us to get to know you, but also for you all to get a good feeling about us. Questions are expected and encouraged We look forward to hearing from you.

Hope is always ready to plan your next serviced event. she decided joined our catering team in 2010. She shines under pressure and hustles like no other 5' woman. She has become the company’s most experienced event producer while keeping her passion for pleasing the clients..

Chase might be our newest member, but he brings with him his 20+ years of experience in the hospitality business. Always a crowd favorite in life and at work, Chase loves to entertain by singing, sharing life stories, and creating experiences..

Hanna

Kitchen Manager

Hanna is our Kitchen Manager and one of our amazing Head Chef's here at Essence. She keeps the food end of things running, helping us guarantee fresh product and perfect execution every time. She spends days off with her other half, TJ and their puppy Chaquita, taking walks, going camping and catching Mariners games when they can!

Miah

Creative Chef

Miah is one of Essence's leading Chef's, and man can she cook! Her knack for creating perfect flavor profiles makes her as talented as they come. She enjoys spending time with her new fiance and their pup, Nova, taking walks, fishing, crabbing, and spending time out in the beautiful PNW.

Gracelyn

Event Lead

Gracelyn has over 4 years and hundreds of weddings under her belt, making her a well seasoned pro. Her artistic nature comes through in her attention to detail at each event, and her hard work ethic adds to her leadership qualities. In her free time, she studies Conservation and Evolutionary Biology in college, practices multiple instruments, sings and dances.
